| MT PLUS™
An Expanded Services Offering from Technical Language Services, Inc.
Technical Language Services, Inc. (TLS) hereby announces MT PLUS™, an expanded services offering for Japanese patent translations.
Traditionally, customers were able to choose only between two services: (1) a high-quality, absolutely correct human translation (HT) prepared by translators and editors who are expert in a given subject matter and in patent translations specifically (this is the highest-value and most expensive service), or (2) a machine-translation (MT), which provides the “gist” of the content of a patent, but is very poor in quality and full of errors (this is the lowest-value and least expensive service). In order to provide more option to its customers, TLS hereby introduces
MT PLUS™ with the following additional services:
(A) TLS Service: Machine Translation with Credit Toward Human Translation
(B) TLS Service: Machine Translation with Human-Translated Claims
(C) TLS Service: Machine Translation with Human Translation of Customer-Selected Sections
(D) TLS Service: Machine Translation with Human Review of Customer-Selected Sections
(E) TLS Service: Machine Translation Enhanced by Human Editing
In summary, TLS hereby offers its customers a plethora of choices via MT PLUS™ that fit any budget and any level of quality requirement in-between the extremes of a raw machine translation with all its limitations, albeit insignificant cost, and the highest-quality, absolutely correct human translation, with all its benefits, but commensurately highest cost. Now, TLS’ customers can obtain customized services on various levels to enhance the understanding of the translated content while keeping costs contained.
